My name is Rey Muir. Some people call me Annie, but I prefer Rey. I am a 21 year old stay at home mother living in a place I dream about leaving every day.
I grew up too fast because of an abusive childhood and as a result of this I live my day to day life with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I struggle each day to keep my head above water but I am blessed to have many reasons to fight this battle no matter how tiresome it becomes.
I eloped with my best friend at 19 years old, on June 11th, 2015.
My husband’s name is Troy Lynn Muir and he is an incredibly passionate and gifted musician. I have never known a more accepting, understanding and generous person in my entire life. He has worked endlessly to give us everything, when we started with nothing. Not to mention that on top of it all he’s the most handsome man I have ever seen. He may not know it but he gives me faith in this world, he reminds me that I remain because I have a purpose.
I became a mommy on November 21st, 2016 to a beautiful baby boy. His name is Shyre, he is my greatest adventure and because of him every day is brighter. I cannot believe there was a time when he wasn’t in my life. He is a miracle and a warrior. he has taught me that strength comes endlessly from love.
I love my little family and I’m excited to see where life will take us. I am thankful for so many things, including each day that I am alive.
This blog is about my life, my story, my family, and whatever else I am inspired to write. I hope that I can bring happiness and light to others’ day and maybe even inspire one or two people to do the same! I pray that I can help anyone who reads my posts to be brave and tell the world about their own life. Stories are meant to be told so that we understand differences and learn to live as individuals who fight for, love and accept one another.
